My Experience
as a Teacher
I've been using the ABCmouse platform for over 10 years with children of all ages, from preschoolers to elementary school students.
In Brazil, I adapted the app to each child's English level, making it a valuable tool for learners acquiring English as a second language.
For students in bilingual schools, ABCmouse has become a powerful reinforcement resource for Language Arts, Math, and Science in English.
The children loved the narrated stories and sing-along songs, which helped them develop vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension more quickly.
We use ABCmouse in many ways:
Individual work on classroom computers or tablets, where each child could progress at their own pace.
Group activities on an interactive whiteboard, where students collaborated and practiced together.
Themed lessons that supported our class topics while keeping students engaged through games and interactive activities.
